Spring 2024

If you're itching to dive into the world of Felix Gomez, vampire-detective, Iraq War veteran (supernatural noir at its best!), here's your chance. HarperCollins is offering books 1-5 free on Kindle Unlimited. But this offer is limited from now through June 30, 2024. Click on the titles and that'll take you straight to the deals.

Nymphos of Rocky Flats    X-Rated Bloodsuckers      Undead Kama Sutra

                                                 Jailbait Zombie           Werewolf Smackdown

In other news, I'm working on a couple of short stories. One is about a monster. The other, when tropes go wrong. Both should be fun, though in different ways.

Here's an update on the CALMA Anthology. We're in the final editing process and fingers crossed, by the end of April, I should have release date and news about the book launch.

Winter 2020

Hope that 2020 is off to a great start for you all.

What's in store for the year?

Thus far, I have two short stories slated for publication this year. Both stories will be in horror anthologies from Hex Publishers, It Came From the Multiplex and Psi-Wars. Here are the covers. Pretty awesome!

I was busy in 2019 completing book-length freelance projects plus a smattering of short fiction. My audiobook for Rescue From Planet Pleasure hit the streets. I also had the opportunity to share my knowledge of storytelling in writing workshops with Regis University and Lighthouse Writers LitFest. Touring with the Bard's Tower gave me the chance to rekindle old friendships and start new ones.

Check out my appearance schedule on the Events page. Still tuned for updates.

Winter 2019

What's in store this year?

Though I don't have any books scheduled for publication, I'm furiously hard at work on several projects: two novels and a clutch of short stories. If you're jonesing for more Felix Gomez, stay tuned for news on another installment of our favorite undead bloodsucker and his buddy Malachi Hunter in the Old West Steampunk Bandito universe.

I'm still kicking around an idea of gathering several of my previous short stories into a special collection. The tales include a water monster, alien cops, and a post-apocalyptic cleansing. Stay tuned for that as well.

This year I'm ramping up my 2019 event schedule, so check that out. Seattle, Phoenix, Kansas City, Salt Lake City.

Until then, let's show some love for Felix over at Amazon.

Summer 2018

It's here! Book 7 of the Felix Gomez series:

Steampunk Banditos: Sex Slaves of Shark Island

Felix Gomez embarks on his wildest adventure yet: back to an alternative past of steam-powered technology, telepathic magic, and deadly intrigue. On a mission to find the daughter of a notorious gangster, Felix follows clues through the reimagined southwest of Aztlan in his quest that takes him to the sex slaves of Isla Tiburon - Shark Island - the fortress home of a twisted evil genius. To solve this mystery, Felix must survive a gauntlet of murderous henchmen, infernal machines, and ferocious prehistoric monsters. And don't forget the sharks.

Fall 2017

It's a Denver Post #1 Bestseller!
Blood Business, the latest anthology from Hex Publishers hit the streets like a spray of gunfire from a drive-by shooting. Josh Viola and I had the pleasure of editing a fantastic offering of short fiction from a stable of amazing writers. This book is something we're truly proud of.

"...a unique, compelling, dark production very highly recommended for fans who like their crimes tinged with psychological depth and horror..." D. Donovan, Sr Reviewer, Midwest Book Review

And let's not forget this amazing cover. Get your copy here.

For you Felix Gomez fans, book seven is in the works. In this latest adventure, the series take a detour as you can surmise from the title, Steampunk Banditos: Sex Slaves of Shark Island. Despite the new setting, fear not, Felix won't disappoint. There's plenty of action, intrigue, and weirdness.

Spring 2017

Lots of great news on the writing front.

First up:

University of Doom will be reprinted by Hex Publishers. Release date will be early this summer. Here's the awesome new cover.

 And...

Felix Gomez book #7 is in final edits. As if Felix's world wasn't troublesome enough, he got sent to an alternative steampunk past. Much craziness! And all the sketchy sex and mayhem you've come to love and expect. What else could it be with a title like: Sex Slaves of Shark Island

More good news, a double-dose actually. The anthology I edited for Rocky Mountain Fiction Writers, Found, is a finalist for a 2017 Colorado Book Award. Plus, another anthology that published my story is also a finalist, CyberWorld, from Hex Publishers. So I'm up against myself.

It's in the oven.

If you're a fan of Felix Gomez, you know he's got a lot hanging out there. For one, the most bodacious vampiress of all time, his buddy Carmen Arellano, was kidnapped by aliens and she's being held prisoner in deep space. And Phaedra, the ruthless bloodsucking ingenue--now with extra-superpowers--is making good on her threat to destroy the Araneum and take over the undead underworld. Felix is not alone in his quest to save Carmen and stop Phaedra. That red-headed whirlwind with a gun, Jolie, has got his back. Also appearing is everyone's favorite down-and-out trickster sage, Coyote, and he's brought along his mom...la Malinche...aka La Llorona! Here it comes, a big, hairy story bristling with action, intergalactic adventure, skin-walkers, Hopi magic...all told in tumescent PervoVision. Exactly what you'd expect from Felix Gomez.

I've signed a contract with WordFire Press

Coming very soon.
